Creating a token creates the asset, but it does not provide a market. An AMM liquidity pool holds your token and a quote asset, such as SOL or USDC, so people can swap between them. Your deposit ratio sets the starting price. More liquidity generally reduces price impact; it does not guarantee trading activity.

Not for the Raydium CPMM pools created on Slingzero. These pools work without an OpenBook market. OpenBook provides an order book and is part of some legacy AMM workflows. Only create a market ID if the platform you choose explicitly requires one.

Use it to add both assets to an existing Raydium CPMM or AMM v4 pool at its current ratio, or withdraw your share by redeeming LP tokens. Each add or withdrawal costs a 0.05 SOL service fee, included in the same transaction. You must hold that specific pool’s LP tokens to withdraw from it. Withdraw all requests redemption of 100% of your spendable LP tokens for this pool; approve it in your wallet to continue.

Liquidity Provider tokens are receipts for your share of a constant-product pool. You receive them when you deposit liquidity, and they are burned when you redeem them for both underlying assets. They are different from your project’s token. The assets you receive depend on the pool’s current reserves, so the amounts can differ from your original deposit.

A trading pool can exist even when your connected wallet has no position in it. Another wallet may own the LP tokens, or yours may have been transferred, staked, locked, or burned. You can still add liquidity to the existing pool and receive new LP tokens. Staked or locked tokens need to be managed through the service holding them before they can be withdrawn.
